The time is near! We absolutely cannot wait for next weekend! Yes, we’ll assure you again, a Festival of Cheese! Join us at Wensleydale Creamery for a weekend of celebrating cheese, glorious cheese on 15th & 16th September, 9am – 5pm! We will have a large marquee playing host to fantastic local producers. It’s here again, our favourite day of the year (and that includes Christmas!). It’s Yorkshire Day! Our beautiful County is celebrated all over the world on August 1st, which makes us even more proud to be from God’s Own Country! This year to celebrate, we’re joining in the Yorkshire Day celebrations in Ripon. Wednesday starts off with a parade which sets off from Ripon Spa Hotel at 10am, with nearly 200 mayors and dignitaries taking part. Yorkshire Dales getting cheesy for a second time at a • Cracking Cheese Festival returns 15-23 September!

The Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival returns this September with double the number of events and activities following the success of last year’s inaugural event. One of the new events will put a cheesy slant on the War of the Roses by holding a week-long tasting competition pitting fromage from Yorkshire against Lancashire-produced cheeses. On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September, we’ll be kicking off our 2018 Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival with a two-day celebration of the Dales rich-cheese making heritage at the Wensleydale Creamery, Hawes. We seem to have just come down for the amazing, beautiful and colourful whirlwind which was the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018.
