Lemon Drizzle Scones

Highly popular in our 1897 Coffee Shop – delicious served warm, with lashings of Dales Butter. Ingredients Scones 450g self-raising flour, plus more for dusting 350 g caster sugar 250g margarine 2 eggs Splash milk Juice of 2 lemons Zest of 1 lemon Icing 500g icing sugar 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice   Method 1. A Celebration of Game, Dinner and Dance raises over £13,000 at The Wensleydale Creamery

We were proud to host a Charity Game Dinner; a celebration of game, dinner & dancing at our Creamery on Saturday evening, 28th April. We hosted the Yorkshire Dales Moorland Group’s event in our very own, Calvert’s Restaurant, where we enjoyed stunningly tasty food thanks to our wonderful chefs and L&A Dent Game Dealers who generously provided all of the game for the menu. An A-Moo-Sing Welcome For Tour De Yorkshire

To celebrate the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire, taking place 3rd- 6th May, Yorkshire’s dairy farmers have been installing giant Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese straw bales in the fields of local farms to put a smile on the faces of cyclists and spectators alike.
