Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations

A popular dish in our Visitor Centre Coffee Shop – perfect as a snack, or as a light lunch/supper. Ingredients 1 flatbread 1 leek, washed and finely chopped Knob of butter 150ml vegetable stock 50ml whipping cream 1 slice bacon, grilled and diced 50g Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, grated Black pepper Chopped parsley to garnish Method 1. The Yorkshire Dales’ famous cheese-maker announces two year sponsorship extension with Yorkshire County Cricket Club to support sales at home and away. Michelle’s Marathon

Our Deputy Visitor Centre Manager Michelle Barnes, is undertaking a marathon challenge in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity on Sunday 24th April, when she takes part in the 35th Virgin London Marathon. Michelle is one of three members of our staff who are in the retained fire service, based at Hawes Fire Station in Wensleydale.
