Christmas 2020 Order Update
This has been no ordinary year, and it’s no ordinary Christmas. Several of our most popular products have sold out, Christmas delivery slots have been snapped up and our team have been working night and day to ensure you have the best Wensleydale Christmas Ever. Our small, local food producers have been feeling the pressure too!
Due to the handcrafted nature of many of our products, we simply cannot increase the speed with which they are made and packed to meet the overwhelming demand.
Unfortunately, we have now stopped taking orders until further notice. We want to ensure that we can fulfil all orders placed & don’t want to let anyone down.
We are working as hard as we can and would like to thank you for your support and understanding.

For those living in Tier 2 areas, our Visitor Centre Cheese & Gift Shop is now open, where you can find a selection of your favourite cheeses and local produce such as fruit cakes, chutney and crackers, as well as fantastic unique gifts for the whole family. You can build your own hamper too! Our restaurant is open serving Christmas lunch, light bites, hot drinks and cake, so you can combine some fantastic food with your Christmas shopping too.

It’s great that more and more people are buying locally produced goods. My order has no Christmas deadline, so no worries.

As much as I understand the reason for stopping I am also a little bit peeved as we delayed our order when you mentioned about not ordering too early as the products might not last. We live in East Yorkshire ( Tier 3 ) not much chance then!

My three children live so far apart they will be happy to receive their Wensleydale cheeses in 2021.

Coming to Hawes on Thursday. Hope to be able to pick my own cheeses etc for 2 hampers. Have you thought of making hampers for one person who would not necessarily need a lot of cheese but biscuits etc. I am hoping to do one ,for one on Thursday. Love your shop and your cheeses.
