We’re supporting Coeliac UK Awareness Week this month by shining a light on the products, dishes and recipes available here at Wensleydale Creamery, that are suitable for people following a gluten free diet.

Gluten Free Recipes

Did you know that all of our cheese here at Wensleydale Creamery (apart from Fountains Gold Cheddar with Black Sheep Riggwelter Ale) are gluten free?  What’s more, there are hundreds of different recipes that these can be included in to make mealtimes as diverse as they are delicious. Here are some of our favourites:

Try our Yorkshire Wensleydale, Watermelon & Beetroot Salad for a fresh and fruity lunchtime dish with the perfect combination of fresh watermelon and creamy, crumbly Yorkshire Wensleydale.

Our Courgette, Spinach and Wensleydale Blue Frittata, created by the team at Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil is the perfect lunch or brunch dish, and is delicious both hot and cold.

For something sweet, you can’t beat the Yorkshire Wensleydale & Ginger Cheesecake, an incredibly creamy and decedent dessert made using Yorkshire Wensleydale and Stem Ginger.  Just use gluten free biscuits in the base.
