Creamery cheering YCCC to County Championship

As Yorkshire County Cricket Club close in on the LV= County Championship title, their partners at the Wensleydale Creamery wished players a Yorkshire ‘Good luck’ as they head on their way to the crucial match against Nottinghamshire.

Yorkshire’s victory over Lancashire in the Roses match set them up well as they travel to Trent Bridge and a victory against Nottinghamshire will be a huge step towards clinching their first County Championship Cup since 2001.

The famous Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese makers were on hand this season to supply the players with a well-deserved taste of Yorkshire. David Hartley, Managing Director at the Wensleydale Creamery, said: “As a proud partner of YCCC, we wanted to wish them good luck on behalf of us all at the Creamery.”

Jack Brooks, YCCC bowler, said: “It’s great that our partner Wensleydale Creamery and all of Yorkshire are fully behind us going into this pivotal week for the Club as we go all out to try and beat Nottinghamshire and clinch the County Championship title. It’s never easy playing at Trent Bridge, but we remain confident that we can get the job done and win the game!”
