Creamery Supports Hawes Christmas Lights

The Wensleydale Creamery announced today its pledge of funds from carrier bag charges at its Visitor Centre in Hawes, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, to the local Christmas light fund.

The market town of Hawes is a hot spot for tourism, full of thriving independent businesses, shops, pubs and tourist attractions.

The Christmas light fund is run by a group of local business men and women, who give their time freely to ensure that a little extra Christmas cheer can be enjoyed by residents and visitors.

The great Christmas light switch on is due to take place on Saturday 3rd December, with a special visit from Santa himself!
