Our Visitor Centre in Hawes is the place to be this festive season! Enjoy Christmas shopping with some amazing seasonal food!

Our delicious Christmas lunch returns from Monday 25th November in Calvert’s Restaurant and will remain on the menu until 27th December. Served seven days a week from just £12.95, our Christmas lunches are made using locally sourced ingredients, and of course, feature our award-winning cheeses. Soak up the stunning panoramic views, of the heart of the Yorkshire dales as you enjoy the festive atmosphere and delicious food. See our Christmas Lunch menu here!

Taste your way through our much-loved Cheese Shop, with 20+ varieties of cheese to sample, including the brand-new festive variety: Black Forest Yorkshire Wensleydale with Cherries, Chocolate and Kirsch. Back by popular demand are last year’s crumbly festive favourites, Yorkshire Wensleydale with Caramelised Orange & Masons Yorkshire Gin, Yorkshire Wensleydale with Ginger & Jamaican Rum, and Winter Warmer; Yorkshire Wensleydale with Cranberries & Festive Spices, along with the festive Character truckles.

Our Gift Shop is the best place to discover bespoke gifts, sourced from local craftsmen and suppliers – some of them with a cheese theme! From unique handcrafted oak cheeseboards & woodware range, crafts, locally sourced food & drink, there’s something for everyone. We recently won Best Rural Retailer at The Yorkshire Post Rural Awards – and we’re super proud!

We also offer a build your own hamper service, perfect for tailoring gifts for loved ones and making sure all their favourite cheeses are included, along with a personalised choice of food, drink and bespoke gifts. One of our lovely team will hand wrap your hamper too!
