Half Term at our Visitor Centre

We’re looking forward to bank holiday weekend and Summer Half Term here at The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre – we’ve got lots going on!

You will find a selection of our local suppliers sampling their fantastic food & drink in our Cheese & Gift Shop over the following dates:

Sunday 29th May – Rosebud Preserves
Monday 30th May – Raydale Preserves
Tuesday 31st May – Masons Gin
Wednesday 1st June – Yorkshire Dales Brewery

Be sure to check out these incredible products, all of which can be found here at the Visitor Centre; sampling sessions will run between 11am and 4pm.

We will be running cookery demonstrations on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons in our Museum. Our Head Chef will show you how to create some of the mouth-watering dishes found on our menu in Calvert’s Restaurant and the 1897 Coffee Shop, which feature our award-winning cheese. And of course, you’ll be able to taste the finished dish too!

Phase one of our ‘Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience’ is open with activities and games for the family to enjoy. Plus you can also see our master cheese-makers at work from our cheese-making viewing gallery.

Our popular cheese-making demos will be running throughout the week too – be sure to book your space upon arrival.

You can now find Brymor ice cream cones, tubs and sundaes which have recently been added to our shop and menus in Calvert’s Restaurant and 1897 Coffee Shop. Look out for the exciting new flavour; Yorkshire Wensleydale & Ginger Cheesecake! Based on the famous signature dessert enjoyed by so many at our Visitor Centre, it’s absolutely delicious and not be missed.
