International Cheese & Dairy Awards Success!

We’ve got some exciting news to share!

The prestigious International Cheese and Dairy Awards were held at Staffordshire Showground last week, and we’re delighted to share that we came home with a bumper list of 8 medals including 5 x Gold, 1 x Silver & 2 x Bronze… plus a trophy for Wensleydale Blue!!

Our Wensleydale Blue was awarded the Chr Hansen Perpetual Challenge Cup, for the Best Blue Veined Cheese.

One of the country’s most revered competitions in the delicious world of cheese, the awards attract over 4500 entries from across the globe each year, so to be named amongst the winners is a great achievement!

Yorkshire Wensleydale: 3 x Gold & 2 x Bronze

Wensleydale Blue: 1 x Gold & 1 x Silver

Wensleydale with Cranberries, Orange & Cointreau: 1 x Gold

Also, very excitingly, our brand new (and not yet released!) Wensleydale with Cranberries, Orange & Cointreau was awarded a Gold medal!  Our team here at the Creamery have been working hard to perfect this new flavour for months and we can’t wait for you to try it when it launches later this year…. watch this space!
