Our New Christmas Menu Launches Today!

Get into the Christmas spirit and celebrate the festive season with all your loved ones, friends and family at the Wensleydale Creamery in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

From November 22^nd to December 31^st, you can enjoy delicious festive favourites with a special Yorkshire twist from our brand-new Christmas menu in their award-winning Calvert’s Restaurant, with the stunning backdrop views of the surrounding Yorkshire Dales landscape.

With handcrafted artisan cheese and local produce at the forefront of the food offering, our Calvert’s Christmas lunch menu has a whole host of delicious dishes to choose from, including maple-glazed ham with a Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese puree, an indulgent Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cranberries cheesecake made with a ginger biscuit base, served with spiced fruit compote and cinnamon cream and everyone’s favourite Christmas classic, roast turkey with all the trimmings.

New this Christmas are the Festive Sharing Boards; with a selection of Christmas favourites such as pigs in blankets, as well as turkey and cranberry mac and cheese.  You can also enjoy the artisan cheese board, a selection of the our fan-favourite artisan cheeses, which have been lovingly handcrafted by expert cheese-makers using traditional methods and time-honoured recipes using milk from local farms.

Enjoy two courses for £18 or three courses for £24, with Festive Sharing Boards that are perfect for two people, priced at just £22.

You can find everything you need for your Christmas shopping in the Gift Shop, packed with a unique selection of gifts and delicious local produce, from individual cheese truckles to artisan gin and port. There is also a wide selection of Christmas gift hampers filled with creamy, crumbly cheese in many flavours, along with the opportunity to build your own unique hamper, to make the perfect gift for a loved one; just select your gifts and our friendly team will wrap it for you.

With complimentary cheese sampling now available from the amazing Cheese Shop, which is packed with over 20 varieties of cheese, you can now taste and discover the many different varieties on offer.  It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up for the festive season!

Our popular Christmas shopping evenings will also return this year, taking place on the 7^th and 16^th of December, from 5pm until 8:30pm with special offers, sampling, live entertainment, complimentary mulled wine and mince pies, plus meet local producers, and a two-course special £16 served in Calvert’s Restaurant.
