Friends of the Creamery: Spirit of Yorkshire
A trailblazing Yorkshire company, Spirit of Yorkshire were the first whisky distillery in the county.
Using wheat grown on Yorkshire farms, they have a true field-to-bottle ethos and their range of whiskies have won awards both nationally and internationally.
A perfect evening tipple, their original Filey Bay Flagship Whisky with its light, fruity and creamy notes, is the perfect pairing for our powerful and rich flavoured Extra Mature Cheddar, whilst their soft, spicy and warming Filey Bay Moscatel Whisky is delicious with our creamy and mellow Wensleydale Blue.

The Spirit of Yorkshire team will be joining us here at the Creamery as part of our Meet the Maker events on Tuesday 29th November 11-3pm. Come along and sample their delicious Filey Bay whiskey for yourself alongside our range of cheeses.
There’ll also be some special offers available on the day including a free 200g Yorkshire Wensleydale with each 70cl Flagship Finish, a free 200g Wensleydale Blue with each 70cl Moscatel Finish or a free 200g Kit Calvert Old-Style Wensleydale when you purchase a 70cl bottle of Filey Bay Port Finish.
