Great Yorkshire Show

The 2016 Great Yorkshire Show takes place at Harrogate Showground Tuesday 12th – Thursday 14th July, and we would love to see  you there. We will have a stand in the brand new Cheese & Dairy Hall, sampling our range of award-winning handcrafted cheeses and Yorkshire Yogurt, with products available to purchase too. Dales Festival of Food & Drink

This year, the Dales Festival of Food & Drink is moving back to Leyburn Market Place, and is a free to attend event. Showcasing the best of food and drink from the local area, there is a full schedule of demonstrations, activities and performances from local bands too. The festival takes place 18th and 19th June, and we are delighted to be headline sponsors. Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations

We will be celebrating Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday in style here at our Visitor Centre, with a special menu available in Calvert’s Restaurant. A Yorkshire Cream Tea complete with Pimm’s, home-made and locally sourced treats, and of course our handcrafted Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese; it’s not to be missed!   Please ensure to book to avoid disappointment, minimum of two guests. Iconic Yorkshire Producers Unite to create Yorkshire Wensleydale & Ginger Cheesecake Ice Cream

The Wensleydale Creamery is celebrating the start of Summer with the launch of a Yorkshire Wensleydale & Ginger Cheesecake ice cream, to be sold at the Creamery’s popular Visitor Centre. A popular dish in our Visitor Centre Coffee Shop – perfect as a snack, or as a light lunch/supper. Ingredients 1 flatbread 1 leek, washed and finely chopped Knob of butter 150ml vegetable stock 50ml whipping cream 1 slice bacon, grilled and diced 50g Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, grated Black pepper Chopped parsley to garnish Method 1.
