We were excited to host our very first Cheese Festival here at The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre, on 23rd & 24th September, in partnership with Yorkshire Dales National Park - and what an event it was!

NEW CHEESE-MAKING VIEWING GALLERY The Wensleydale Creamery, based at Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, is welcoming families to come and enjoy the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience at its Visitor Centre this February half term. We were delighted to be shortlisted in this year’s Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards, in the Large Visitor Attraction category. The list of finalists comprised some amazing businesses, and the competition was fierce! We’re looking forward to the Summer here at The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre – we’ve got lots going on! We will be running cookery demonstrations during the Summer in our Museum. Our Head Chef will show you how to create some of the mouth-watering dishes found on our menu in Calvert’s Restaurant and the 1897 Coffee Shop, which feature our award-winning cheese.
