The 2018 Festive Season Begins At The Wensleydale Creamery

The only place to be this Christmas is The Wensleydale Creamery, set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, as we invite you to combine your Christmas shopping with some fabulous seasonal food at our popular Visitor Centre!

Our popular Christmas lunch returns from Monday 26th November at Calvert’s Restaurant and will remain on the menu until 30^th December. Served seven days a week from £12.95, the Christmas lunches are made using locally sourced ingredients, and of course, feature the Creamery’s award-winning cheeses – what better way to do your Christmas shopping than accompanied by a mouth-watering meal?

Taste your way through the Creamery’s offering in the much-loved Cheese Shop, including the brand-new festive varieties: Yorkshire Wensleydale with Caramelised Orange & Masons Yorkshire Gin and Yorkshire Wensleydale with Ginger & Jamaican Rum, as well as firm Christmas favourites such as Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cranberries. From brand-new cheeses to blue cheese, to Yorkshire Cheddar & Brie, to the essential Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese to partner with your Christmas Cake, the Creamery’s Cheese Shop is the place to be to create your perfect Christmas cheeseboard.

For those hungry for more, our Gift Shop also offers a wide range of regional produce, beautiful gifts and extremely popular build-your-own hampers.

If that wasn’t enough, special Christmas shopping events with 20% off (in store only) will be held on Thursday 6^th and Tuesday 18^th December from 5-8pm with complimentary mince pies and mulled wine, festive entertainment and Italian specialities served in Calvert’s restaurant.

The Wensleydale Creamery really comes to life during the festive season as we know our range of Yorkshire cheeses are a firm family favourite during Christmas. Our handcrafted cheeses and truckles sell incredibly well, and with the new festive flavours we are confident every shopper will find something for that perfect gift and indeed themselves!
