The Wensleydale Creamery Attends Gulfood to Drive Export Sales

Gulfood takes place at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, Sunday 18^th to Thursday 22^nd February. The largest food & drink show in the world, it’s an annual gathering of food & drink businesses from around the globe; showcasing their wares and meeting connections old and new.

The Wensleydale Creamery is exhibiting at Gulfood once again, with a wide range of products from Yorkshire Wensleydale, to Hot & Spicy Cheddar, to Yorkshire Yogurt, and of course, Yorkshire Wensleydale with Mango & Ginger; a particular favourite in the Middle East!

The Creamery is working with a number of distributors in the UAE, to drive export sales in this area of the globe.

Janette Scarth, Export Manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be exhibiting at Gulfood. It’s a busy show with an exceptional atmosphere; a great platform to meet new contacts and build relationships. But it’s also an opportunity to meet existing customers, and we’re looking forward to showing off some of our new products!”

As well as being a traditional cheese-maker, and the only maker of Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese (which is protected with European Protected Food Name status in the form of PGI), The Creamery is innovative in blending cheese with ingredients, and has also moved into new dairy categories, such as Yorkshire Yogurt, and the soon-to-launch Yorkshire Brie.
