Wallace & Gromit Star as the Faces of New Cheese Lunch Pack Selection

Oscar winning duo Wallace & Gromit’s latest starring role is as the face of a new lunch pack selection of cheeses by The Wensleydale Creamery.

To appeal to families with children, the five 20g sticks of cheese – comprises a creamy Real Yorkshire Wensleydale, one Red Leicester and three Mild Cheddars, plus a free Wallace & Gromit sticker.

The Wensleydale Creamery’s master cheese makers have created an extra creamy Wensleydale especially for the lunch pack selection.

David Hartley, The Wensleydale Creamery Managing Director, said: “Our cheeses and Wallace & Gromit are British through and through and as a result The Wensleydale Creamery and Wallace & Gromit are the ideal partners to champion this handy lunch box-sized selection of Great British cheeses.

Research has revealed that a quarter of school children prefer to take a packed lunch rather than have a school dinner*.

Mr Hartley added: “Cheese is a great source of protein and calcium for children and adults alike and we believe the Wallace and Gromit association will make the snack pack a popular lunchbox choice.”

The Wensleydale Creamery has a track record of creating high quality natural cheeses through the expertise of its cheese-making master craftsmen, who are based in Hawes in North Yorkshire.

The Wallace and Gromit lunch pack cheese selection will be available nationwide.
