Wensleydale Creamery Finalist in White Rose Awards

We were delighted to be shortlisted in this year’s Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards, in the Large Visitor Attraction category.

The list of finalists comprised some amazing businesses, and the competition was fierce!

Feedback from the judges included:

• Excellent cheese-making demonstrations
• Friendly, bright and efficient staff
• Enticing home-made food
• A modern, bright and spacious building
• Well stocked shop aimed at all ages, with lots of local produce
• Excellent car parking

On the night of the awards our team enjoyed a fantastic event, with delicious food and great entertainment. We saw many of our friends scoop awards, including Sloemotion, whose range of liqueurs are stocked in our Visitor Centre Gift Shop.

When it came to our category, we weren’t the overall winner, however we were truly honoured to be shortlisted in such great company. We’d like to congratulate Yorkshire Sculpture Park on winning Large Visitor Attraction of the year.
