Wensleydale Creamery First to Launch Crumbly Cheese Slice

The Wensleydale Creamery has launched the very first crumbly cheese slice, made using its famous Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese.

Demand for Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese has grown beyond its traditional place on the cheese board.  Being championed as the perfect ingredient to create Sandwich Heaven and only last year voted the best for cheese on toast by the UK public in a national British Cheese Board initiative, the new Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese slices provide great flavour in a convenient format for quick and easy meal time solutions.

David Hartley, Managing Director at the Wensleydale Creamery, said: “We can now satisfy our customers’ needs with our creamy and full of flavour Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese in a more convenient sliced format.

The new packs have launched in Asda, being sold in 160g re-closable packs of six slices.
