Wensleydale Creamery serves up a cheeseboard treat

The Wensleydale Creamery, based in Hawes (17 miles up the Dale from Leyburn), is this year’s headline sponsor of the new-look Dales Festival of Food & Drink, and is bringing its range of delicious handcrafted cheeses along to the festival.

As well as sampling their range of award-winning cheeses including favourites such as Yorkshire Wensleydale, Wensleydale Blue, and Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cranberries, there will also be Yorkshire Yogurt available to sample, and delicious cheeseboard platters to buy and enjoy during your visit.

Come along to their stand to choose from the many different varieties of cheese, to create your own cheeseboard platter, accompanied by homemade tomato & apple chutney and oatcakes from their popular Visitor Centre in Hawes too. And, for a true taste of Yorkshire, you can add a slice of locally made rich fruitcake, to enjoy with your cheese too!
