We’re proud to support The Dales Festival of Food and Drink 2019 for a fourth year!

We’re excited to be supporting and joining The Dales Festival of Food and Drink on June 15th – 16th and can’t wait for a weekend of celebrating local produce, sampling our cheese and celebrating all Yorkshire has to offer!

We’ll be selling and sampling our award-winning cheese as well hosting cheese-making demonstations! Join one of our cheese-experts as they turn eight pints of Wensleydale milk into a 500g Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese and learn all about our 1000 year history!

Enjoy Cookery Demonstrations by Top Dales Chefs, amazing live music from local bands and take a ride on the vintage shuttle bus!

PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES

SATURDAY 15th JUNE 2019

10:00am – The Festival and all activities open with a performance from Hollywood Boredom
10:30am – The Roundhill Brewery Beer Tasting
11:00am – Chefs demonstration by Michael Barrett – Head Chef of the Street Head Inn Bishopdale
12:00pm – The Gravy Lark. A hilarious comedy performed by the Leyburn Amateur Dramatic Society
1:00pm – Enjoy a performance by the Hartlepool Ukulele Group
2:30pm – Chris Taplin of Taplin Mageean will show us how Gin is made
3:00pm – A performance by the outstanding local Muker Silver Band
6:00pm – The Festival and all activities close.
6:30pm – The last shuttle bus leaves for the car park.

SUNDAY 16th JUNE 2019

10:00am – The Festival and all activities open with a performance from Hollywood Boredom
10:30am – Cheese making by Wensleydale Creamery
11:00am – A performance by the award-winning Leyburn Band
12:00pm – The Gravy Lark. A hilarious comedy performed by the Leyburn Amateur Dramatic Society
1:00pm – Chef demonstration by Jon Appleby. Head Chef of the Blue Lion Inn East Witton
2:00pm – A second performance by the award-winning Leyburn Band
3:00pm – Enjoy a performance by the Hartlepool Ukulele Group
5:00pm – The Festival and all activities close.
5:30pm – The last shuttle bus leaves for the car park.
