We’re travelling to Paris for an International Trade Show!

The Wensleydale Creamery, famous for its European protected Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, will showcase its range of handcrafted cheeses as it heads to SIAL in Paris (21-25 October), the world’s largest food innovation exhibition bringing together over 7,000 companies from 100 countries around the world.

The exhibition showcases products from all over the world and looks at the latest emerging culinary trends. The Creamery will be showcasing our recently launched Yorkshire Cheddar, our range of blended cheeses like the famous Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cranberries and Yorkshire Wensleydale with Mango & Ginger and our range of different formatted cheese including slices, waxed truckles.

With a wide portfolio of Yorkshire dairy products including cheese, Yorkshire Butter and Yorkshire Yogurt and the increase in appetite for British cheese, the Wensleydale Creamery brand is very strong; exports account for approximately 14% of the Creamery’s sales, from Europe, US and recently, the Middle and Far East.

David Hartley, Managing Director at The Wensleydale Creamery, said: “Exports account for a growing percentage of our sales at the Creamery, as we continue to strengthen our reputation globally as quality cheese-makers. The development of different formats and flavours of cheese, such as slices, has made cheese more relevant and accessible to consumers around the world.”
