Home to our iconic range of handcrafted cheeses, our Visitor Centre has a range of exciting activities and offers taking place over the festive period, from Cookery Demonstrations to Meet the Maker events, Build Your Own Hamper to delicious seasonal dishes in their 1897 Coffee Shop, we’ve got you covered this Christmas.
Join a host of local artisans for weekly Meet the Maker events each Wednesday in the run up to Christmas or learn how to make one of our most popular dishes during live cookery demonstrations every Thursday, where you can also learn more about the Creamery’s heritage and watch our master cheesemakers at work.
Don’t forget to visit our new ‘A Taste of Yorkshire’ room. Open 7 days a week, you’ll be able to sample our range of award-winning cheeses and learn what local accompaniments pair with them – perfect for perfecting your cheese boards ahead of the festive season!
From the 21st of November, our 1897 Coffee Shop will also launch its Christmas Specials menu, featuring a whole host of delicious, festive dishes to choose from including roast turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwich, home-made mince pies served with brandy cream, and everyone’s favourite Christmas classic – roast turkey with all the trimmings. We’ll also be serving up an array of seasonal drinks including mulled wine and Baileys hot chocolate.
Come and get your Christmas shopping sorted at Cheese & Gift Shop. Packed with unique gifts and delicious local produce, from individual cheese truckles to artisan products from Rosebud Preserves, Lishman’s of Ilkley, Raydale Preserves and Botham’s of Whitby, there are gifts to suit the whole family.
