Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cranberries for Christmas

The Wensleydale Creamery is the only maker of ‘Yorkshire Wensleydale’ cheese, which has been protected with European protected food name status since December 2013. This differentiates our unique & special cheese, handcrafted right here in the heart of Wensleydale to a time-honoured recipe, from other Wensleydale cheeses that are made in other counties around the UK – even Lancashire!

An original creation of ours 21 years ago, we carefully combine Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese with sweet, juicy cranberries – so the first thing to look out for are the words ‘Yorkshire Wensleydale’ in the title. If it doesn’t say Yorkshire, then it’s not from Wensleydale.

As well as being available in our Wensleydale Creamery packaging, you will find our cheese in the packaging of the different retailers too, and for Christmas the labels are usually fairly festive!
