Lovely, smooth and crumbly, smashing with the carrot chutney

Although I'm a Scot living in Devon, Christmas Cake without Wènsleydale is just not right. The delightful creaminess and soft texture make it indispensable. For the rest of the year I love eating chunks!

A classic cheese from God’s own county. It was a tradition, when I was a lad in the 50s, to have Wensleydale cheese and fruit cake together. We still do in our house, and the best comes from the Wensleydale Creamery.

I'll be honest I'd never eaten anything but plain old cheddar until we visited the Creamery, and tasting this beautiful Wensleydale opened my eyes! Love it. I have with crackers and butter and a little bit of caramelised onion chutney. I don't like fruit cake but I even liked that with Wensleydale! We've bought loads

Treated myself to a box of goodies and this cheese saws in my box. I took it all on my camping trip and each afternoon has two crackers and cheese and chutney as my afternoon tea - it's creamy it's really tasty and makes for a smashing snack.

I bought this as a present for a friend who was becoming increasingly frustrated at not being able to find Wensleydale cheese locally that didn't contain additions such as cranberries, etc. She is delighted with this product and told me it was 'absolutely delicious'.
